Tulip ‘Ready’ wins Interpolis Tulip Prize 2021

We are proud to share that our tulip 'Ready' has won the Interpolis Tulip Prize last week. This single-flower yellow-red tulip is a breeding product of the 'Remarkable growers association' of Hobaho by Dümmen Orange. The prize was awarded during a digital event of the Zwaagdijk Trade Exhibition.

According to the jury, 'Ready' is distinguished by its robustness. It has a sturdy stem and good upright leaves. This tulip shows color right from the bud, which is an attractive feature during sales presentations.

Floris Slob is one of the breeders of Hobaho by Dümmen Orange and does cross-breeding for the growers association. Slob: "We knew that 'Ready' was a worthy candidate, but there were other beautiful entries. The breeding of tulips takes a lot of time. Therefore we are very proud to receive this recognition and winning this prize."
