Dümmen Orange employees in Ecuador vaccinated

All employees and family members of the Dümmen Orange production site in Cayambe, Ecuador, have been vaccinated against the corona virus. This is the result of a joint effort by the Ecuadorian government and Núcleo de Floricultores de Cayambe, a local partnership of about 100 companies in the floriculture sector, of which Dümmen Orange is a long-standing member.

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Health has opened additional channels to reach citizens faster and allows private organisations to obtain vaccines for their employees. Dümmen Orange has taken advantage of this opportunity and joined the program to vaccinate employees and their family members. On 6 August, everyone got his or her second and final jab.

Socorro Martinez, General Manager: 'We are committed to the health and well-being of our people. Together with the government, Núcleo de Floricultores de Cayembe and the help of volunteers, we managed to vaccinate everyone in a short period of time. We are very happy with the result. This is a fantastic achievement that we can justifiably be proud of.'

In addition to Ecuador, Dümmen Orange also facilitates employees in other countries where it has production locations to be vaccinated or vaccinated faster.
